Raed is blatantly against the new Iraqi government and the Iraqi security forces.
Raed has previously referred to Iraqi police and those working to rebuild Iraq as "collaborators"
Raed wants all foreign troops to leave Iraq immediately so that the insurgent fighters may do as they wish.
Raed sheds crocodile tears for civilian casualties, while supporting the "resistance" (terrorists) who kill and injure more civilians than anyone.
THE ALTERNATIVE:
Al-Quaida declares the formation of the Islamic Republic of Qaim
Public executions of policemen, local authorities and everyone who is suspected of collaboration with occupation forces began in the city. Militants replaced the existing court with Shariat's law and declared the formation of the Islamic Republic. "Welcome to the Islamic Republic of Qaim", the poster at the city entry reads.

200 Suspected Militants Arrested in Iraq
TAL AFAR, Iraq - A joint U.S.-Iraqi force punched deep into Tal Afar, a key insurgent staging ground near the Syrian border, and the Iraqi army said Thursday it arrested 200 suspected militants in the sweep — three-fourths of them foreign fighters.

Riverbend's Sept. 11 2005 post seems to show some of her feelings about 9-11 2001:
"Some Iraqis believed that America had brought this upon itself. This is what you get when you meddle in world affairs. This is what you get when starve populations. This is what you get when you give unabashed support to occupying countries like Israel, and corrupt tyrants like the Saudi royals."
